Green and yellow candles - Barley cake or new bread - Beer - Hazel - Poppy seed head - Incense - Summery flowers - Yellow ribbon

Tarot 8 The Strength

LAMMAS RITE
1)Sweep the circle and light candles, charge up wands etc
2)Charge up athame saying:
"I call earth to bind my spell
Air to speed its travel well
Bright as fire shall it glow
Deep as tide of water flow".
3)Consecrate the water saying:
"I exorcise thee o creature of water that tho cast out from thee
all impurities and uncleanliness of the spirits of the world of phantasm
In the names of the Lord and the Lady".
4)Pour a heap of salt onto the pentagrame and put point of athame on it saying:
"Blessings be upon this creature of salt
Let all evil and hindrance be cast out henceforth
And let all good enter in
But ever mind that water purifies the body
But the scourge purifies the mind and soul
Therefore I bless thee that they mayest aid me
In the names of the Lord and Lady".
5)Pour salt into water and sprinkle round the circle.
6)Cast the circle.
7)Summon each quarter with the bell
8)Say "THE CIRCLE IS READY"
9)Say the witches rune
10)Give thanks for a good season to Luhg
11)All walk round the circle 3 times gathering in strength.
12)Have a drink and say: "We drink to the harvest and the abundance of earth"
13)Eat and say: "We share the first fruits, bread of harvest and we give thanks to the Mother, let us dwell on the bounty of the Goddess, let us think on the strength of the Lord"
14)Ring bell three times and say: "Haste haste no time to waste, we`re off to the sabbot so don`t be late"

15)Sing harvest songs and dance until tired.
16)ALL- THE POWERS OF LIFE AND DEATH ARE HELD BY THE GODS
ALL- GREAT IS THE POWER OF THE MIGHTY ONES
ALL- GOD IS OLD YET YOUNG
ALL- AND THE POWER IS HIS
The bell is rung 7 times.

17)tHe bell is rung again 3 times then everyone can eat and drink
18)Any magical workings can be done now.
19)Merry meet merry part and merry meet again.
