This cosmic event marks the point of equals periods of night and day
and heralds forth the Season of Autumn and the passing of Summer. 'Tis
is the time to give thanks for the harvests and food set before. 'Tis
also the time to prepare and Invoke Protection against the imminent
coming of Winter.
Harvest
Fruits are gathered in
Feast and Drink, Dance and Sing
Celebrate life, and life's givers
The Sun, the land, the wind and rivers
Where the season is good, give praises
Where it is bad, Bless your good neighbours
Pull together and life will be sweet
Share your Luck, your Corn, your Meat
Cure and Cook,
Wrap and Store
For Winter surely comes once more
Bless the Lady, Lord and Son
Bless us all, the whole, the one.
